The ski resort of Gitschberg Jochtal is considered a very child-friendly ski resort. The ski schools specialise in children's ski instruction and offer special children's ski lessons (for example, full-day care including ski lesson and lunch). The ski schools operate children's areas. The Gimmy Fun Ride fun slope in Jochtal is great fun for the whole family. Another highlight is the Brimi Winter Run toboggan run.

Gimmy Land operated by Vals-Jochtal ski school
The large Gimmy Land children's area is situated slightly above the base station of the Schillingbahn lift in Vals. There are several moving carpets where children can have fun while learning. This makes ski lessons feel playful and enjoyable.
Meransen children's area operated by Gitschberg ski school
The well-equipped children's area is located directly in the village of Meransen at the Pobist village lift.
Gitschberg children's area run by Gitschberg ski school
As well as the children's area in Meransen, Gitschberg ski school also has a children's area with a moving carpet in the middle of the ski resort. The children's area is located at the exit from the Nesselbahn lift, right next to the Nesselhütte. Children can then progress at the easy slope at the Ski Express gondola lift
Meransen children's area operated by the Snow Pro ski school
The children's area run by the Snow Pro ski school is located in Meransen at the Brunner lift and beside the Hotel Familiamus.
Gimmy Fun Ride
The Gimmy Fun Ride is a fun slope for the whole family. It is located in the upper area on the Jochberg. You can have lots of fun with boxes and kickers, followed by attractive steep turns and finishing off with a snail. There is, of course, a figure to high-five as you ski past. Funny noises accompany you as you ski through the Gimmy Fun Ride.
